Distinctives

"We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ." Colossians 1:28

As God's creation and workmanship, we exist to glorify God (1 Corinthians 10:31)! This principle guides our church and ministries in three directions: upward as we exalt God, inward as we edify one another in the church, and outward as we evangelize the world.

Upward: Exaltation

We exalt God when we love Him with all our being (Luke 10:27) and worship Him by daily presenting our lives to Him as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1).

Inward: Edification

To edify, love, and disciple one another, we must know Christ and be attached to Him as our life-giving vine. To know Christ, the Word made flesh (John 1:14), we must know the Spirit-breathed Word of God! This means that the expositional study, teaching, preaching, and application of the Bible is central to the life and vitality of the church (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:3).

Outward: Evangelization

As faithful disciples, we should each proclaim the excellencies of Christ and the hope that is in us to a lost and dying world (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 2:9, 3:15).
