Growing up as the son of a pastor, Luke desired to go into ministry since high school. He graduated from College of the Ozarks in 2015 (BTS major) and from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020 (MDiv). He served on staff as pastor of outreach and evangelism at a church in Kansas City and worked at his seminary until meeting his wife Abigail. He then moved to Idaho in December of 2018, and they were married the following July. In 2020, Luke Rehmert came on staff as an associate pastor at Redeemer Bible Church in Meridian Idaho until July 2024 when he came on staff at New Hope Baptist Church. Both Luke and his wife grew up in the Midwest, but Idaho is the place where they call home. Luke desires to reach the Treasure Valley with the gospel. He is passionate about making disciples of Jesus Christ who will love and serve God faithfully.
