NEW HERE?

Welcome to New Hope Baptist Church!

New Hope Baptist Church exists to proclaim God’s Word from the Bible in order to grow as a fellowship into mature believers who love, worship, and serve Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:28 says “We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.” The worship service is aimed at bringing our hearts into readiness to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The preaching is expository from the Word of God. The focus on discipleship and fellowship draws us to grow not only individually, but corporately. The fellowship goes beyond just the Sunday worship service, we have small group Bible studies throughout the week that allow us to “live life together”, developing relationships in order to be mutually encouraged by one another’s faith, and exhort one another to love and serve, as exemplified by Christ.

WHAT KIND OF WORSHIP SONGS DO YOU SING?
When we gather each week at New Hope, we have a unique opportunity to worship God corporately as we fellowship, listen to God’s Word, and pray! The singers and musicians who make up our worship team are there to guide our attention and stir our affections toward Jesus Christ by leading the congregation through songs that contain understandable lyrics grounded in the truths of God’s Word. Our focus when we sing is intentionally centered on God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ; we sing songs that speak of who He is and what He has done so that our expression of praise is always informed and motivated by those truths.
