Join us for a new adult SS class on New Hope’s Statement of Faith to begin on July 19th at 11:00am. Ken Barnes and Scott Channon will be taking us through our own statement of faith where we will discuss what New Hope believes in regards to the following topics: The Scriptures, The Trinity, The Church, Man, The Spirit World and Salvation. This is a great opportunity for believers here at New Hope to grow in our understanding of what we as a church believe based on what the Bible teaches on these basics of our faith. We hope that you will make plans to join us on the 19th!
A ladies life group, “Equipping Women in the Word.”, using The Daily Grace Co. studies will begin on July 19th during the SS hour which begins at 11:00am. This study will take a closer look at classic hymns, the stories behind them, and the Scripture that inspired their writing. These studies will deepen your love for your favorite hymns and perhaps introduce you to some classic hymns you may not know.
If you are interested in attending you can contact the facilitator of this study, Miriam Kasprzak directly at 208-880-7102 or contact the office with questions. The cost is just $5.00 for the study guide.
Join us on July 12th directly after the morning worship service for Fellowship Sunday. This is a time that we get to come together as a body and share in a meal together as well as hear updates about the various ministries of the church. Because of the COVID pandemic we are taking extra precautions with the meal and will be proving a catered lunch of pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and beans rather than a potluck style lunch.
We have turned off the RSVP’s and sign-up link since we had to turn in a number to the caterer. If you didn’t get signed up for the lunch, you are still welcome to join us for the meeting but may want to bring a sack lunch. 🙂
New Hope will be hosting a blood drive with the Red Cross on June 25th from noon to 5pm here at the church. The Red Cross is need of your donation and we are happy to partner with them to help save lives. Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. If you are interested in donating blood please contact the office or see Jenny Perry. You can call or text her directly at 208-250-1850.
