Please join us for an evening of Christmas carols, fellowship, refreshments and a short message on Saturday, December 18th from 6-7:30pm. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends, family and neighbors to hear about the gift of Christ according to Luke.
Baptism Sunday will be held on December 19th during the morning worship service. If you are interested in being baptized or want to know more about what baptism is for, please contact the office or see Pastor Daniel to schedule an individual meeting. A mandatory group meeting will be held on December 5th for all those being baptized as well.
The following is taken from our constitution.
Jesus Christ instituted the observances of baptism and communion (the Lord’s Supper) as the
two ordinances of the Church. These ordinances are to be observed by born-again believers
who are old enough to understand their meaning and are walking with the Lord. They are an
act of obedience for the believer but are not required for salvation.
Scriptural baptism is by immersion (Acts 8:36-39) in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
(Matthew 28:19-20). It is to be observed only once after conversion (Acts 8:12; 10:47; 16:33)
as an outward sign of the inward work of grace by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts
The shoebox ministry that sends gifts and the gospel message around the world to children in need is underway. If you would like to pack a box, please visit the operation table in the foyer. Now is the time to pick up a box and pack it with goodies. Return all boxes between November 15th-22nd.
