About New Hope Baptist Church

New Hope Baptist started out as Berean Baptist over 50 years ago, which was a name that was chosen because of the importance we place on the study of scripture. The name comes from the church in Berea who studied the scriptures to verify that what Paul said was true in Acts 17:11. As we began to move to a new location, we felt that it was also time to find a new name. However, while the name has changed to New Hope, our devotion to the study of scripture remains.

Beyond studying scripture, we believe that there are many other aspects to a healthy Christian life. Our values can be found in the New Hope Basics, and our core beliefs can be found in our Articles of Faith. If you are considering visiting us, we also try to hold meetings semi-frequently on weekday evenings where you can come to get to know the pastor.

New Hope is affiliated with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC), and has year round access to Camp Pinewood.
